The Red Strip Band swings in incendiary style with Neil Drinkwater on piano and vocals, offering

Steve "Big Man" Clayton and the 44's - Website
Anyone who has heard the 'Big Man', three times winnder of the British Blues Award, won't want
to miss this. With his big frame and technique and he way he attacks the piano, you'd swear he
had 20 fingers on each hand - and he has the perfect blues voice. He's also a great entertainer,
whipping his audience into fits of laughter.

The Tim Kliphuis Quartet - Website
Tim Kliphuis ranks among the world's finest jazz violinists. He has played festivals all over the
world, including North Sea and Edinburgh and appeared a Ronnie Scott's and Pizza Express.
. Known as ‘The Time Lord’, Len Skeat has performed on double bass with such luminaries as
Stephane Grapelli, Ted Heath, Dave Shepherd and Peggy Lee. Pianist Nick Dawson has worked
with Kenny Baker, Don Lusher, Scott Hamilton, Kenny Ball, Bob Wilber and the King’s Singers.
Mitch Dalton on guitar completes the quartet.

Ray Harris and THE FUSION EXPERIENCE - Website

Julie Felix - Website
Another legend! Along with Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and Tom Paxton, Julie became part of a
movement that carried a message through song to a generation.
She opened for Bob Dylan at the legendary Isle of Wight Festival.A deeply committed performer
of integrity and passion, her material leans towards the spiritual and her singing creates
compelling tensions as she shifts mood and ambience.

The Slaughterhouse Quartet
All graduates of Pianist Kevin Byrne's Music Dept at Downside School, The band was founded
over 30 years ago and has built up a terrific following in Marlborough.

Coup de Grass - Website
A much esteemed band, which had its origins when Keith Pearson (banjo and lead vocal) won
the Marlboro Country Music Contest in 1982. He was joined by World Harmonica Champion,
James Darby, Andrew Noyes (guitar and harmony vocal) and Phil Milner (bass and harmony
vocal) to form what is widely regarded as Britain’s finest-ever Bluegrass influenced band.

Baraka - Website
This unique combination features West African highlife, South African Township and Calypso, Soca
and Reggae from the Caribbean. The band is fronted by Ben Baddo, master drummer, balafon player
and dancer from Ghana, delivering a potent combination of driving rhythm and subtle vocals. He
has guested with many fine artists, including Peter Gabriel. Zambian Simi Zeko is on vocals and
guitar. Brendon Whitmore is on tenor and soprano sax, flute, harmonica and vocals. Royston Gage
from Dominica is on vocals and bass and Mark Bradley on drums.

The Bob Hall Trio - Website
Twice voted Instrumentatlist of the Year at the annual British Blues Festival, Bob has worked
with such famed artists as John Lee Hooker, Chuck Berry, Alexis Korner, Mike Fleetwood,
Charlie Watts and Paul Jones.

Gabby Young's Acoustic Set - Website
Marlborough's treasure, acoustic vocalist Gabby, appears with cello and double bass.

harp/harmonica.

The TJ Johnson Band - Website
Pianist and vocalist T.J.Johnson toured internationally with the Max Collie Rhythm Aces.
The band plays regular dates at the 100 Club, and the Birmingham, Bude, Upton and
Edinburgh Festivals. It features Australian Karl Hird (tenor sax), Pete Hedley (drums);
Sky Murphy (trombone; guitar, vocals), Jamie Lawrence (double bass) and Adrian Cox (alto

Robin Jones and King Salsa * - Website
A 12-piece powerhouse Afro-Cuban band featuring some of the brightest stars of the Latin music
scene. It is led by legendary conguero Robin Jones and features the charismatic vocal and percussion
talents of Cubans Enrique Puento and Felix Gonzales and Omar Puente on violin.
Australian virtuoso, Andrew Noble, is on piano.

Carmina - Website
Carmina draws in elements of traditional and contemporary Celtic folk jazz to create a unique and
sophisticated sound. The band has graced festivals in Belgium, Ireland, France and Spain.
Amongst leading UK venues where they have appeared is the Acoustic Tent at Glastonbury.

Zeya Phillips and Zeyamusic - Website
Zeyamusic has appeared at the Geneva Festival, the Freeride Festival in France and the Park Lane
Hilton. Singer Zeya Phillips is also an actress who has appeared in Casualty and Midsomer Murders.
The band comprises Mark Smallman (guitar), Andy Phillips (drums), Roger Calcutt (bass),
Nikki Davies
(keyboards) and Crispin Thomas (guitarist).

Meta Meta* - Website
Nothing less than an Africa/Cuba collision! Spearheaded by saxophonist Barak Schmool from the
sensational F-IRE Collective, Méta Méta means three by three in Yoruba. The septet features the
Italian vocalist, Maurizio Ravalico, as well as the fierce rhythms of the acclaimed Afro-Cuban dance
specialist, Guillermo Davis (El Iyawo).

Sirius B’s unique blend of Brazilian beats, jazz harmonies and groovy arrangements are at the cutting
edge of modern bossa nova.
Sirius B has been captivating audiences all over Europe for the past 7 years. Forrunners of the
new wave of Brazilian music, the band has a large appeal that seems to span the jazz world and
dance audiences.
Their music fuses hard hitting bossa grooves, with flowing Latin rhythms; be-bop
Brazilian style solos over lush jazz harmonies; catchy,  lyrical melodies sung in Portuguese and
English in a wide spectrum of outstanding original songs and imaginative reworking  of the classics of
bossa nova.  With carnival inspired world beats, jazz sensibilities and groovy dance arrangements,
they have created  their own unique brand of world jazz.
